Chris began working with glass in 2005. After experimenting with a variety of different types of glasses and forming techniques, Chris began to focus primarily on lampworking with borosilicate glass. He has continued to expand his chemical knowledge, engineering, and technical skills, while working and studying with a variety of professional, scientific and artistic glassblowers.

Each Big Bang Slide is unique, inscribed with an individual serial number, and will produce a variety of tones based on each color’s material properties. Our process starts with rigorously searching for the best quality borosilicate materials, sourced from the highest quality manufactures. Each slide is then hand cut, beveled, fire polished, and completely annealed to produce the finest quality glass guitar slide on the market.
